A Will of Iron by Mobolaji Adeolu has been selected in this year’s Sundance Short Film Challenge. The film is based on a true life story of a blacksmith living under the 3rd Mainland Bridge with his wife and child for almost 15 years. He shares his struggles and hopes while living under the bridge. The competition which is supported by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is designed to use the transformative power of storytelling to generate discussion, shift perceptions around extreme hunger and poverty, and harness the power of independent film to create a global conversation about these issues. Each of the selected short films will be awarded $10,000.
