Watch highlights of The Movie Buff Show (Episode 7)

The seventh contestant of The Movie Buff Show, Kobina Bondze answered questions on his African cinema crush, Femi Branch. After three rounds, he finished with 90 points. He is now tied in first place with the first contestant Adesola Adeyinka who answered questions on Rita Dominic.

Hosted by Isabella Akinseye, The Movie Buff Show premiered on February 4 on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv ch. 151). The first contestant of the season, Adesola Adeyinka answered questions on her African cinema crush, Rita Dominic and finished with 90 points. The second contestant, Uchenna Okoro answered questions on his African cinema crush, OC Ukeje and finished with 46 points. The third contestant, Temitayo Olofinlua answered questions on her African cinema crush, Ibinabo Fiberesima and finished with 73 points. The fourth contestant, Shaibu Husseini answered questions on his African cinema crush, Kehinde Bankole and finished with 39 points. The fifth contestant, Chima Nwaubani answered questions on his African cinema crush, Deyemi Okanlawon and finished with 88 points. The sixth contestant, Filamilo answered questions on his African cinema crush, Gideon Okeke and finished with 88 points.

The Movie Buff Show is for the true fans of African cinema. Each episode a contestant answers questions on an actor they are crushing on for the chance to wine and dine with them. At the end of 12 episodes, the person with the highest score wins the date which will be shown on the finale show.
