Finding Mercy is your typical Nollywood movie but with a different storyline. Mercy (Oyindamola Lanpejo) loses her mum at childbirth but gets adopted by armed robber turned Good Samaritan, Jato (Blossom Chuks-Chukwujekwu). Eventually, the truth comes out and her biological father, Daniel Olatunji (Desmond Elliot) desperately wants her back. The acting which complements the dialogue is generally good save for some over the top moments. Unfortunately, the product placement of popular Procter and Gamble brands is not scripted properly into the movie. The costume could also have been improved as the beards on Jato and Daniel Olatunji look plastered on.
