Nkiru is all about the mystery of the legend of Mami Water. Sadly, every part of this short film (aside the story line) falls short of standard. A nice score that blends well with the legend was made and yet a background song (a good one though) is heard playing while conversation is ongoing. Why? And how is it that a short film of just 12:31 minutes, wastes the first 5:00 minutes on displaying the credits of the film? The acting on the other hand was just way off. With everything being off, 100 words won’t be enough to review Nkiru.
