It is common practice now in Nollywood to have actors and actresses seek either greener pastures in other fields or just plainly looking into increasing their versatility by branching out to other industries. This move has seen actors go into fashion designing, music or even politics as it is the case of Richard Mofe Damijo and some other veterans. Monalisa Chinda on the other hand has chosen the road less taken. She chose to publish, and publish she did. With the launching of Monalisa Magazine in Lagos and Ghana in December 2013, Monalisa Chinda has not only found a way of making money in a different industry, but also a way of immortalising herself.
