Title: Your Cup of Tea
Genre: Short film
Director: Daniel Etim Effiong
Year: 2013
Daniel Etim Effiong’s Crimson: Your Cup of Tea is about a former military head of… let’s skip the synopsis. There is a huge difference between what the creator believes is portrayed in this work and what really is. An extension in conveyed meaning perhaps. In this work you’ll see a struggle between generations. Anger from the older generations at the way the current generation quiz them in a “uncouth” manner, and anger from the younger generation over sacrileges committed in times past. This is a deep satire, I dare say that it is deeper than the writer wants it to be.
