Call for entries for the 4th edition of the Africa International Film Festival

The Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) has called for entries for the 4th edition of the festival. The film festival will hold between the 9th and 16th of November, 2014 in Tinapa, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.

To enter films must have been produced after January 1, 2013 and accepted categories for entry include Feature, Short, Documentary and Animation. The festival which is a platform that seeks to give expression to African cinema by recognizing and rewarding excellence in the industry, will give preference to films which are yet to be screened globally or in Africa and would award monetary prizes ranging from $3000 – $6000.

If you wish to have your film considered for the 4th Africa International Film Festival, please include a DVD copy of the film, plus a synopsis and/or press kit as soon as possible. You are also required to complete this entry submission form which is also available on AFRIFF’s website.

Deadline for receipt of entry submission forms and screeners:

Short films (40 minutes or less) – 13 June 2014
Feature length films (more than 40 minutes) – 30 June 2014
