Title: The Rise of the Eagles

Genre: Documentary

Director: Biola Kazeem

Year: 2014

For a documentary shoot at the wake of the world cup and a time when the frenzy of football had fallen on all, this documentary is exceptionally lifeless. The lifelessness is not for the lack of an interesting story or the lack of well-informed interviewees, but rather it comes from the narrator. It goes without saying that the narrator is meant to be the life of a documentary, but where our narrator had a very good voice, he refused to utilise it. He thereby inadvertently made the documentary slur. Aside that, the documentary is fun to watch and very informative.
