The word is out. Ace comedian, Julius ‘D Genius’ Agwu will be the host of the 2014 GIAMA Awards to be held in Houston, Texas. This year’s awards is the 3rd edition of the GIAMA and is set to hold on October 25th, 2014.
The organisers in a statement posted on their official website announced that “As part of our commitment to showcasing excellence in the African film industry, we guarantee a unique show filled with glamour, elegance, and non-stop entertainment. We are pleased to announce that our 3rd edition will be headlined by the comedic genius, Julius Agwu.”
This means that the “comedic genius” will be following the footsteps of Jim Iyke and Ramsey Nouah who hosted the previous editions of the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA).
