Planet tv is getting a facelift that promises viewers fresh new content that is inspired by an urban lifestyle, Urban TV. Urban TV that launches on the 1 August 2019, is an afro-youth urban-centric lifestyle and general entertainment channel that believes in engaging and interacting with customers.

It is with great pride that DStv and GOtv announces the new look Urban TV channel. The channel rebranding speaks to the changing times, and the need for channels to keep up. This new look will host fresh new content that caters to the urban youth.

Urban World 40: a countdown of 40 of the biggest videos on the continent, get full access to exclusive content straight from artists, video directors and stylists, with the latest news around the World.

Urban Puzzle: a 21st century live game show, which is based on interaction from the viewers to challenge their intellectual skills with the games provided.
