The 2019 edition of the Golden Movie Awards has introduced a walk of fame.
This Walk of Fame which is regarded as “Africa walk of fame” is the first of its kind and it seeks to acknowledge 5 legends who have been very instrumental in the Ghana movie industry and made immense contribution toward the progress and growth of the industry.
Speaking to the media at the launch of this year’s Golden Movie Awards, Mimi Andani Michaels who is the brain behind the awards scheme revealed Nadia Buari, Van Vicker, Roger Quartey, Jackie Appiah and Abdul Salam Mumuni as the first batch of legends to be celebrated on the walk of fame.
The Golden Movie Awards was held on the 24th of August 2019 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra Ghana. Congratulations to the awardees.
