Fate of Alakada the Party Planner is a continuation of a comic movie that started a couple of years back. It is the story of a young lady – Yetunde (Toyin Abraham), who is from a poor background but would have nothing to do with this fact. She is a ‘fakester’, a ‘wannabe’ who blows a trumpet that does not belong to her. She is an impulsive liar claiming to be from a wealthy background that exists only in her dreams. It does not matter to her that her lies are found out and she is disgraced time and again, she just keeps lying.
Fate of Alakada the Party Planner views this ‘fakester’ from another angle and this time around, she is not alone as she has a companion – Brodashaggi – with whom she schemes a new plan – to host the biggest party ever.
Fate of Alakada the Party Planner is star-studded with artistes from both the movie and music industries making a big show. Some of these artistes include Toyin Abraham, Samuel Perry (Brodashaggi), Odunlade Adekola, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Baba Wande (Alhaji Kareem Adepoju), Cobhams Asuquo, David Adeleke, Peruzzi, Toyin Lawani, Mercy Eke (Mercy Lambo) and a host of other TV sensations.
