Namaste Wahala, loosely translated as ‘hello trouble’, is a love story between a Nigerian girl and a Hindi boy which, consequently results in the marriage of two cultures. In her words, the director of the movie, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, describes the movie as ‘…a fun comedy’ with ‘a lot of laughs’ and ‘a few tears’.
This epic movie is the first of its kind. Although not the first Nollywood international collaboration, it is the first time Nollywood would be working with Bollywood. The movie promises a lot of rich display of culture from both worlds.
Great Bollywood and Nollywood stars such as Joke Silva, Richard Mofe Damijo, Inidima Okojie, Sailes H. Ahuja, Ruslaan Mumtaz and many more, worked together to create this monumental movie. It is a Hamisha Daryani Ahuja film directed by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja.
Namaste Wahala will hit the cinemas from April 24, 2020. Watch out!
