The Eko International Film Festival was founded in 2009 and had its inaugural outing from July 7-12, 2010. The festival was founded and established by Hope Obioma Opara, who is the CEO of Supple communications Limited, as a Non-Profit Organization.

The Eko International Film Festival is a platform for film festivals and training for young film makers. Her ‘mission is to promote the appreciation of Arts and Culture through the motion picture arts and sciences and increase tourism in Nigeria’.

Eko International Film Festival 2020 holds between 10th and 12th March, at the Silverbird Cinema, Victoria Island, Lagos. You may not want to miss the 10th year edition of the Festival.
