We stated a while ago that Things Fall Apart was one of the TV series that heralded Pete Edochie’s entry into the movie industry. Lo and behold, Things Fall Apart is back! Play Network Africa working in partnership with Mosaic Theatre Production will be bringing Things Fall Apart back to the stage.
The stage play performance of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart is directed by Agozie Agwu with great Nollywood stars like Pete Edochie, Patience Ozokwo and Chiwetalu Agu, among others, gracing the stage.
The stage play will be showing on the 21st and 22nd of March, 2020, in Lagos and Abuja at 3pm and 6pm each day.

Synopsis:Things Fall Apart is a 1954 novel by Chinua Achebe adapted for the stage. The story is about the colonial incursion in Nigeria, that brought a clash of cultures. The novel displays the Igbo resistance to the colonial rule and indeed colonial masters. The novel ends tragically, as the hero, Okonkwo, commits suicide because his beloved culture sees corruption in his day and he is unable to do so much in defense of what he believes and loves dearly.
