65 New Broadcasting Licenses Granted by NBC

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has approved the issuance of 65 new operating licenses for digital television and radio stations.

According to a statement by the commission, 43 companies were granted FM radio broadcasting licenses, eight for campus FM radio, one for community FM and 13 for free-view digital terrestrial televisions.

The beneficiaries of the new radio licenses are the Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps.

The successful companies, institutional and communities listed will have to collect their letters of grant of provisional operating license(s) from the office of the Secretary to the commission
