Toyin Abraham is a multi-award-winning actress, director and producer. She is popular for her hilarious role in movies. She definitely knows how to give the right gesture to the role she is acting at every given time.

Toyin was born Olutoyin Aimakhu in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria. She started acting in 2003, and is popular for her jocularity. Toyin became a household name through the movie Alakada where she acted the role of a wannabe – Yetunde, who would stop at nothing to show off her ‘nothingness’.

She is married to Kolawole Ajeyemi, a Nollywood actor, and the mother of Ire Ajeyemi.

Toyin won the Best Actress award at the just concluded AMVCA, hosted on the 14th of March, for her role in Elevator Baby, a 2019 movie. She has featured in several movies prominent among which are Bling Lagosians, The Ghost and the Tout, Alakada Reloaded, Alani Baba Labake, Ebi Mi Ni, and many others.

She is a philanthropist. She recently gave the gifts of bags of rice, hand sanitizers and face masks to people of different cities in a bid to make the stay-at-home directive of the Federal government of Nigeria against the spread of the Corona Virus easy.

Her latest movie Fate of Alakada will be hitting the cinemas soon, and known for who she is, Fate of Alakada is going to be a hit!
