In the very first vlog for Correct Student, Isabella Akinseye itemises and explains seven (7) things that are important to, not just note, but also do in this lock-down season.
Isabella explains that Covid-19 is a pandemic bent on destroying lives and as such, we must be willing to do all it takes to stay safe in this period. She also states the following steps as guides to help secure a desired future for not just students but all that care to listen.
Here are the seven things to consider:
Your home: Here she mentions the importance of basic hygienic practices like washing hands regularly, keeping the home environment tidy, and of course, eating healthy balanced meals loaded with fruits and vegetables.
Your school: What is your school/your child’s school doing as regards the pandemic? What are the measures put in place to curb/control Covid-19, and indeed other disease outbreaks? How involved are you in your child’s school? And so on.
Your commute: How much care do you take as regards crowded places, your means of transportation, etc? What are the hygiene measures you take when you are out of your home?
Internet Connections: Now that school is closed, do you know you can still learn? What new skills are you learning? What researches are you into? Etc.
Your Passport: Do you have your passport? In case you intend studying abroad, it is important to possess this, and lock-down situations like this might make it difficult to get one. So, it is pertinent to have one handy and keep it safe.
Your Support System: In times like this, you need to be sure of those that will have your back in case the undesired happens.
Your Spirituality: Times like this require a lot of prayer, study and meditation, so that depression does not set in.
