StarTimes Nigeria is offering a one-month free subscription to every of her customers, whether active or not, for Africa Independent Televison (AIT), Channels Television, Silverbird News 24 and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
In addition to this, StarTimes announced the debut of the nation’s most prominent entertainment station on all of her bouquets.
This move by StarTimes is in a bid to have an informed audience in the middle of the Covid-19 crisis. David Zhang, the StarTimes Nigeria CEO explains that “everyone needs updated reportage of happenings in their environment on the corona virus pandemic and we have leading news and current affairs channels on our platform that is poised to provide our subscribers with the needed information from across the country.”
Zhang further explains that the free subscription will continue to run even after the actual subscription of a customer ends. This is as directed by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
