Fractured is an Ndani Short film produced by Abimbola Craig, starring Eku Edewor (Teni), Karibi Fubara (Femi), Toyin Alausa (Femi’s mother), written and directed by Bunmi Ajakaye.
The less than 30 minutes short, tells the story of a young couple, happy and so much in love. They are fine, and live that way for the first two years of their married life before tragedy comes calling.
Teni has been anxious about their childlessness to which Femi never fails to answer with some amount of level-headedness and more loving, or so it seems until a medical report shatters his bravado. Femi’s brags of once impregnating a lady and not being fazed about their wait as regards having children all become ‘fractured’ as he is faced with a lifetime condition that he had hoped would be the lot of his partner.
Fractured is a must-see for everyone, particularly the happy go-lucky people who do not believe in karma but think they are bigger than any misfortune, no matter their irrational behaviour/thoughts.
