The three-part anthology film, Juju Stories, has been scheduled to premiere in three festivals across the world this October. The film recently won the Boccalino d’Oro Award for Best Film at the Locarno Film Festival that took place in August 2021 in Switzerland.

Juju Stories will have its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival holding October 6 – 17, 2021.

The film is also going to Latin America and has been scheduled to premiere at the Monstra De Cinemas Africanos holding in October 2021. It is to be the opening film at the festival.

That’s not all. Juju Stories will be at the biennial FESPACO for its African Festival premiere holding 16 – 23 October 2021.

Juju Stories is written and directed by the trio of C.J. “Fiery” Obasi, Abba T. Makama and Michael Omonua. The film explores magical realism rooted in Nigerian folklore.

Produced by Oge Obasi, Juju Stories features Timini Egbuson, Elvis Poko, Don Ekwuazi, Nengi Adoki, Bukola Oladipupo, Belinda Agedah Yanga and Paul Utomi.
