You probably know that women could be particular about what they wear to particular events, wanting the right combination of clothes, jewellery and shoes. But you most likely did not know that a woman not finding the right shoe could lead to the exposing of well-kept secrets, did you? Well, get ready to find out in Tunde Olaoye’s upcoming comedy-drama, Fools’ Day.
Fools’ Day follows the story of a couple preparing to attend an important party. Interestingly, the wife cannot find the shoe she plans to wear to the party and all pleas from the husband suggesting she wears another shoe falls on deaf ears. In the process of searching for the shoe, several well-concealed secrets of their children and domestic staff are dug out.
The movie stars Tunji Sotimirin, Tina Mba, Iyabo Ojo, Broda Shaggi, Omowunmi Dada and Michael Chidozie Okoli.
Fools’ Day is directed by Tunde Olaoye and produced by Olufemi Oke, Tunde Olaoye and Michael Okoli. It will be in cinemas from September 24, 2021. Watch the trailer below.
