Come October 1, 2021, SuperTV will make it possible for Nigerians to stream their favourite movies, TV shows, and stations data-free! Interesting, right? Yes!
SuperTV is a unique subscription-based app that allows users to stream high-quality content without using a data bundle. As long as you have airtime on your line you will be able to watch your preferred content 24/7. The app offers subscribers various packages including Cinemart (which allows subscribers to rent newly released Nollywood and Hollywood blockbusters), Kiddies Zone, Subscription Video-On-Demand (SVOD) and lots more.
A Try Out Version will be available to the public from October 1, but it will only be accessible to MTN subscribers. Other network providers are to be onboarded later. Interested subscribers-to-be can download SuperTV’s app from Google Play Store or App Store.
Depending on how things play out, this ingenious idea will likely have a huge impact on the TV culture of Nigerians. Time will tell.
