Organisers of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) have announced 28 November 2021 as the date for the awards ceremony.
The announcement was made at a media lunch/press conference that was held on 29 September 2021 in Lagos.
The awards ceremony is to be preceded by a nominations gala scheduled for 21 October 2021. This is where nominees for the 2021 AMA Awards will be revealed.
AMAA was founded in 2005 by Peace Anyiam-Osigwe to celebrate superior performance in the African film industry. The 2021 awards will be the 17th edition of the much-recognised award.
