It’s a collaboration between Ghana and Nigeria for Showmax’s Original first African comedy, Ghana Jollof.
The comedy-drama follows the story of two brothers (Funnybone and Akah Nnani) who relocate to Ghana in search of greener pastures.
Executive produced by the renowned comedian, Basketmouth, Ghana Jollof was shot in Accra and Lagos. It also features an impressive mix of both Nollywood and Ghollywood actors including Funnybone, Akah Nnani, Basketmouth, Joselyn Dumas, Uzor Arukwe, Onyebuchi “Buchi” Ojieh, James Gardiner, Jacinta Ocansey, Brihanna Kinte, Albert Davies, Korkor Oyeba Mensah and Mawuli Gavor.
The Diji Aderogba-directed series premieres on October 22, 2021, with new episodes expected to be released weekly on Showmax.
