The Nigerian actor and producer, Kemi Lala Akindoju, has announced her role in DisneyPlus’ upcoming movie, Rise.
Rise is a DisneyPlus Original Movie based on the real-life experiences of Milwaukee Bucks star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and his family.
The Smart Money Woman Series producer shared the news via Instagram, excited to have been the movie’s Nigerian casting director and to have also part of the cast.
Other cast members include Joke Silva, Jaden Osimuwa, Ral Agada, Uche Agada, Elijah Sholanke, Mobolaji Dawodu, Jay Adetayo, Marcia McIntyre, Dayo Okeniyi and Yetide Badaki. Rise is directed by Akin Omotoso and will be released in 2022.
