To round up its 10th-year anniversary festival, the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) held the AFRIFF Globe Awards on Saturday, 13 November 2021, at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
The awards come as a way to round up the 2021 AFRIFF which featured a host of activities including film screenings, masterclasses, workshops, Esports tournaments, industry sessions and more.
As expected, celebrities from across the continent were at the awards night which was hosted by Lala Akindoju and Bovi Ugboma.
An interesting highlight from the event was the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to veteran actor Olu Jacobs in recognition of his years of dedication to the movie industry.
