Maverick filmmaker and actor, Tope Oshin, has won the Best Director Award at the 2021 Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival for her movie, In Line.
In Line is a 2017 drama about an ex-felon’s attempts to pick back the pieces of his life. The movie stars Adesua Etomi, Uzor Arukwe, Tina Mba, Esosa Adah, Chris Attoh and Shawn Faqua. Since its release in 2017, In Line has proven to be an award winner and has won multiple awards including the Best Movie By A Female African Filmmaker award at the 2018 RealTime Film Festival. Adesua Etomi also won the Best Actress award at the 2018 Fernleif Productions Back In the Box Competition for her role in In Line.
Now in its seventh year, the Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival is an annual film festival that holds in Los Angeles, California, USA.
