Ayo “AY” Makun is set to release Christmas In Miami, the fourth installment of his Akpos film series, this December.
Christmas In Miami follows the story of Akpos (AY Makun) as he jets off with his family to the exotic city of Miami, Florida, to represent Nigeria at the Intercontinental Christmas Fiesta.
The film is written by Patrick “Koinage” Nnamani, produced by Darlington Abuda and directed by Robert Peters. It stars a mix of Nollywood and international actors including AY Makun, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Osita Iheme, John Amos, IK Ogbonna, Tanya Price, Barry Piacente and others.
Other films in the Akpos series include 30 Days In Atlanta (2014), A Trip To Jamaica (2016) and Ten Days In Suncity (2017).
Christmas In Miami has been slated for a 24 December 2021 cinema release.
