The Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards is set to hold its 13th edition this Saturday, 11 December 2021, at the Glass House, Lokoja, Kogi State.
Playing host is His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, the executive governor of Kogi State.
The journey to the 2021 BON Awards kicked off with the announcement of nominees at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, on 10 September 2021.
Best of Nollywood Awards (BON Awards) is an annual film event presented by Best of Nollywood Magazine to honour outstanding achievements in the Nigerian movie industry. The awards, which started in December 2009, has over the years created a platform for Nigerian movie makers to be recognised for their work.
ThisDay earlier reported that Chico Ejiro and Abiola Atanda (aka Madam Kofo) will get special recognition awards at the 2021 Awards. Stan Nze, Femi Adebayo, Sola Sobowale, Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs and Rotimi Salami are some of the actors that have been nominated in different categories of the 2021 BON Awards.
