Mo Abudu Named As One Of Forbes’ Most Powerful Women Of 2021

Media mogul, filmmaker and CEO of EbonyLife Media, Mosunmola “Mo” Abudu has been recognised as one of the most powerful women of 2021 by Forbes.

Abudu emerged as number 98 and the third African woman on the list that included philanthropists, politicians, technologists and finance gurus across 30 countries.

According to Forbes, “Nigerian media mogul Mo Abudu is one of the most powerful women in global media. Over the years, EbonylifeTV has struck major partnership deals with Sony Pictures Television, AMC Networks and Netflix. The deal with Netflix marked the first time an African media company signed a multi-title film and TV agreement with the streaming giant.”

Forbes is a global media company with a focus on business, investing, lifestyle, technology, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Now in its 18th year, the Forbes Most Powerful Women list aims to recognise and celebrate women based on their visibility and economic impact.
