Old Nollywood glam was the theme for the Aki and Pawpaw movie premiere and trust your favourite celebrities to deliver on it. The premiere took place on Sunday, 12 December 2021, at Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX in Lekki, Lagos.
Celebrities turned out in their droves at the event including ex-BBNaija housemates, comedians and actors. Toyin Abraham, Hilda Dokubo, Beverly Osu, Stan and Blessing Nze, Real Warri Pikin, Titi Kuti, Cynthia “Cee-C” Nwadiora, Nengi Hampson, Uti Nwachukwu, and Saskay Jonah were some of the notable faces at the premiere.
Aki and Pawpaw is a Play Network Studios’ remake of the 2002 Aki Na Ukwa movie. It stars Nollywood bigwigs including Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikedieze, Hanks Anuku, Stan Nze, Toyin Abraham, Funnybone, Amaechi Muonagor, Juliet Ibrahim, Real Warri Pikin, Lasisi Elenu, Michael “Mc Lively” Sani, Blessing Obasi, Beverly Osu, Francis Sule, Uti Nwachukwu, Sam Uche and more.
Aki and Pawpaw will be in cinemas from 17 December 2021.
