Inkblot Studios has signed an exclusive content deal with the global streaming giant, Amazon Prime Video.
According to Deadline, the deal will see Amazon take exclusive, worldwide rights for Inkblot’s slate of releases, post their theatrical runs. Some of the titles covered by this deal include The Set Up 2, Moms at War 2, New Money 3, Charge and Bail, Superstar and The Blood Covenant.
This is definitely amazing news for Inkblot Studios, which recently celebrated its tenth year anniversary. Founded on December 1, 2011, by Chinaza Onuzo, Zulumoke Oyibo and Damola Ademola, the studio is the brain behind Nigerian movies including The Wedding Party 1& 2, The Arbitration, The Set Up, Up North, Moms at War and soon-to-be-released Superstar.
We are thrilled that the Nigerian film industry keeps getting major deals from international organisations. A sign that we have something they need, surely.
