The Nollywood Studies Centre invites interested filmmakers to its filmmaking workshop with Ema Edosio. If you would like to learn how to tell authentic film stories and produce wide impact and good quality films, then this is a must-attend event.
Ema Edosio, director/cinematographer, began her career in filmmaking as an autodidact by shadowing cinematographers in Nigeria’s Nollywood film industry. She went on to study at both the New York Film Academy and the Motion Pictures Institute of Michigan, where she majored in Cinematography and Directing.
Since then, in addition to her film production projects, she has worked, among other things, as a video broadcast journalist for BBC Africa and Deutsche Welle Germany and as a TV director for Nigerian television networks like Ebony Life TV and Ndani TV. In November 2014, she was granted the Film and Television Director of the Year award by Ebonylife TV.
The session comes up on Saturday, 23 April 2022. Time is 11 am.
Venue: Zaria Classroom, TY Danjuma Academic Complex, Main Campus.
