Inkblot Studios (makers of The Blood Covenant, Superstar, and The Perfect Arrangement) is set to release part 2 of its 2019 crime thriller, The Set Up.
The 2019 movie starred Dakore Akande, Adesua Etomi and Kehinde Bankole as lead characters. It followed the story of a good girl who had to turn to crime for survival.
Adesua Etomi and Kehinde Bankole return in the expected second part, this time joined by Nancy Isime. Other stars include Jim Iyke, Stan Nze, Kate Henshaw, Uzor Arukwe, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Tina Mba, Lota Chukwu and Tope Olowoniyan. While The Set Up is directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, Chinaza Onuzo is the director for The Set Up 2.
The film, which is a collaboration between Inkblot Studios, Anakle Films and FilmOne Entertainment, will be in cinemas from August 12, 2022.
