It’s another collaboration between Nollywood and Bollywood as the executive producer and director of Namaste Wahala, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, announced a new project. The movie whose title is yet to be revealed will feature Sola Sobowale (Eniola Salami of King of Boys) and Samuel Perry (Broda Shaggi).
While Sobowale will be working with Ahuja for the first time, Broda Shaggi had a cameo appearance in Namaste Wahala and as such will be working with the filmmaker for the second time.
Namaste Wahala is a 2020 Bollywood+Nollywood collaboration that followed the love story of an Indian man and a Nigerian woman. Nollywood stars featured in Namaste Wahala include Ini Dima-Okojie, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Osas Ighodaro, Chukwuemeka Okoye, Koye Kekere Ekun, Adaora Lumina, Imoh Eboh, Ibrahim Suleiman and Broda Shaggi .
Speaking about the upcoming movie on her Instagram handle, Ahuja described it as “an incredible idea that I knew the world needed to experience.”
More details about the movie are yet to be revealed.
