Nollywood has lost an icon in the person of Ada Ameh. Ameh passed away on Sunday, 17 July 2022, in Warri, Delta State. She was 48.
Ameh reportedly entered Nollywood in 1995 when she appeared in the Zeb Ejiro movie Domitila. Since then, she has been featured in numerous movies and TV sitcoms, including the award-winning The Johnsons, Aki Na Ukwa, Oloture, My Village People and Lockdown.
Ameh lost her only child in 2020 and had been having some mental health challenges before her death.
She will be sorely missed by the industry. We say ‘Good Night,’ Ada Ameh.
