CINEMAS
Sista – August 5
Directed by Biodun Stephen, Sista follows the story of a single mother’s determination to protect her children from her past. The film stars Kehinde Bankole in the lead role. Other cast members include Deyemi Okanlawon, Bisola Aiyeola, Tope Olowoniyan, Chimezie Imo, Blessing Obasi and Adeherself.

The Set Up 2 – August 12
The Set Up 2 is a sequel to the 2019 crime thriller, The Set Up, and follows the story of Chike (Adesua Etomi Wellington), a young drug smuggler who gets more than she bargains for and is drawn into a web of deceit when she is hired by a socialite (Jim Iyke) to assist with his scheme to marry a wealthy heiress (Dakore Egbuson Akande).
The Chinaza Onuzo-directed drama stars Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Jim Iyke, Kehinde Bankole, Tina Mba, Uzor Arukwe, Kate Henshaw, Nancy Isime, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Stan Nze, Lota Chukwu and Tope Olowoniyan.

Based on a United States-published book, C.O.L.D features Richard Mofe-Damijo, Pete Edochie, Hilda Dokubo, Keppy Ekpenyong, Ireti Doyle, Femi Branch, IK Ogbonna and more. It is directed by Bakia T. Thomas.

The Stranger I Know – August 19
Produced by Aderonke Moyinlorun and directed by Akin Tijani Balogun, The Stranger I Know is a romance drama.
The movie stars some of Nollywood’s big wigs, such as Toyin Abraham, Deyemi Okanlawon, Aderonke Moyinlorun, Akin Lewis, Bimbo Akintola, Dayo Amusa, Steve Enagbare and Busayo Olaleye.
Synopsis
Set in Lagos and the United States of America, The Stranger I know centres on an upcoming actor who got her very first lead role in a big-budget Nollywood movie, moves to Lagos, and finds herself falling in love with her short-let landlord, a guy she just met. They have so much in common in a very strange and scary way, which begs the question- “Is this only a mere coincidence or is there more to it than meets the eye?”

The Razz Guy – August 12
A Trino Motion Pictures film starring Lasisi Elenu in the lead role, The Razz Guy is a 2021 comedy-drama. It tells the story of a senior executive whose arrogance and highhandedness earns him a curse that makes him lose his ability to speak proper English ahead of a crucial international business merger deal. Directed by Udoka Oyeka, The Razz Guy stars Nancy Isime, Frank Donga, Bucci Franklin, Tina Mba, Nobert Young, MC Lively, Broda Shaggi and Ibrahim Suleiman.
Dwindle – August 19
Released July 2021, Dwindle is a comedy-drama directed by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan. It stars Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Jidekene Achufusi, Gregory Ojefua, Broda Shaggi, Adedimeji Lateef, Timini Egbuson, Efa Iwara and Uzor Arukwe.
