A Letter From Adam, Lydia Forson’s production debut is set to screen at the 23rd Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) taking place in Los Angeles’ all-digital Rave Cinemas 15 Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza from February 5 to February 16. With a yearly exhibition of 150 films, PAFF is the largest film festival in the USA dedicated to the exhibition of black films.
A Letter From Adam which is nominated in several categories in the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards stars Lydia Forson, Wale Ojo, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku and Akrofa Ejeani Asiedu among others. Directed by Atlanta-based Ghanaian director Sam Kessie and produced and written by Lydia Forson, the film which is set in Accra is a contemporary story about love, loss and hope that will draw audience into a realistic cycle of life seen through the pain of loss, the journey of self discovery and the courage and strength to find hope in the face of adversity.
