The new animated series Malika has chosen actress Adesua Etomi Wellington to play its lead role. The actress has officially been added to the cast, and she is set to voice the star character of the show, Malika.
Adesua signed the project in October, 2018. The series is based on graphic novels and it follows the life of Nigerian Warrior, Queen and military commander Malika in the 15th century. The series is written and directed by Roye Okupe, the CEO of YouNeek Studios.
