African Student Film Festival is now open for entries for its 2016 edition with the theme “CHANGE…Film as a tool for change in Africa.”
According to festival’s founder, Mrs. Adaobi Obiegbosi-Akanihe, “This year is special for us, as we are now kick starting our concept of mobile student film festival, an idea we have been working on for a while now. the idea is to hold the festival in various campuses within Africa.”
She added, “This way more students and more schools are aware of our work and the opportunities that are possible through this festival for young film makers. To this end, the festival will be held on different campuses every year. The first school we are starting with is Lagos State Polytechnic Ikorodu.”
