After a ten-week stay filled with competitions, fun, ‘ships,’ fights and many more in the Shine Ya Eye house, Whitemoney (Hazel Oyeye Onou) has emerged as the winner of the 2021 edition of the Big Brother Naija show!
The announcement was made during the grand finale party that took place on Sunday, 3 October 2021. With this, the 29-year-old native of Enugu State becomes the winner of the 30,000,000 naira cash prize and other prizes which in total is worth 90 million naira. A deserving prize for the man with the highest number of votes. He also joins the honour roll of past BBNaija winners such as Katung, Efe, Miracle, Mercy and Laycon.
But the winning did not end with Whitemoney. Liquorose also emerged as the first runner up and the last lady standing in the show. This followed the eviction of the four other finalists: Cross, Emmanuel, Pere and Angel.
Similar to the final Saturday night party, the grand finale was attended by ex-housemates of the Shine Ya Eye house. The event also saw electrifying performances from Laycon (2020 winner of BBNaija), Avala, Made Kuti, Lojay and Ajebo Hustlers.
