Rejoice Abutsa, a film trend writer and an author at BellaNaija, has released a short animated film in honour of the Chibok Girls, kidnapped over 6 years ago.
The short Film is a heartfelt rendition by a young girl who once looked up to the girls carted away in one night like cattle by the Boko haram sect, the ordeals of the families and the nation that they have left behind. The girl laments that the girls’ crime was refusing the status quo and trying to better their lot so they do not end up like their mothers.

Rejoice and a host of other creative artists are putting in efforts to make sure that the memory of the innocent girls whose only crime was becoming educated is not lost.
