Nollywood Actress Chizoba Boye has died after a long battle with diabetes, stroke and high blood pressure, on Sunday, 10th May, at the age of 52.
She is the wife of filmmaker Sam Boye to whom she had been married for 15 years. Reports have it that the couple had just celebrated their 15th year wedding anniversary a few weeks before her death.
She was popular for her role in Living in Bondage, Checkmate, Scandals, as well as Aunty Abike in the telenovela Tinsel, and her Igbo comedy series – Ka Anyi Si Ebi on DStv’s Igbo channel, produced by her and directed by her husband. She was a strong advocate of Nollywood Igbo.
May her soul and the souls of many departed, rest in peace.
