Two years after Obi Melonye began work on it, Badamasi: Portrait of a General is finally set to hit the cinemas in November.
Badamasi: Portrait of a General is a biopic about Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, who was a past Nigerian Head of State from August 27th, 1985 to August 26th, 1993.
Starring Enyinna Nwigwe as Badamasi, the movie tells the story of Ibrahim Babangida from when he planned a coup to overthrow the then incumbent Head of State General Muhammadu Buhari in 1985, through the failed 1993 elections, to the end of his rule in 1993.

Badamasi: Portrait of a General is produced and directed by Obi Melonye. The highly anticipated movie will be available in cinemas from November 29th, 2019.
