NSS Indigenous movie of the day: Idi pataki (the reason), is an interesting movie,that tells the story of a young beautiful lady, Tomiwa (Jumoke Odetola) who is threatened into a relationship by a cultist.
Having no plans of leaving her desired partner, she decides to play along to protect herself and her partner, however things became messy and all her plans fail.
While secretly seeing her partner, her best friend, Caro (Oyebade Adebimpe) betrayed her by revealing to the cultist her hidden plans. Knowing this, the cultist attacked Tomiwa’s partner trying to kill him, he however escapes death and then decides to join a rival cult, who offered him protection, so as to protect himself.
Things become messy after the cultist, discovers that Tomiwa is his half sister. A serious hit was made and both rival cults wage war against each other. A battle which claimed lives.
