Ghanaian Actor, John Dumelo is on his way to become a member of Ghana’s legislature.
The actor on Saturday, won the mandate to represent the Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections.
John Dumelo who is new to politics gained 758 votes to beat Madam Suzzy Afua Adoboe after counting was completed.
Madam Suzzy Afua Adoboe garnered 99 votes out of the 859 votes counted.
According to Joyline, John Dumelo had a victorious win as his supporters kept chanting “we want John” even before the results were announced. Congratulations to John Dumelo.
