The Nollywood actor, Karibi Fubara, on Thursday, took to his Instagram handle to celebrate life after a successful surgery. He is elated to have made it out alive, ‘better than he went in’ to the hospital.
According to Fubara, he was diagnosed with the case of a large mid stage tumour/cancer, sometime around Easter, in April, and had a very successful surgery on the 3rd of May, something he had only thought was a sprained back muscle.
In the lengthy post on Instagram, he appreciates his friends, family, health workers who supported him through the journey to recovery, his wife – Yolanda Okereke – and God. He also dropped a word of encouragement for anyone going through a tough time.
We are glad he made it out safely and wish him speedy and total recovery.
