Mildred Okwo’s neo-noir crime thriller, La Femme Anjola, has joined the list of Nigerian titles streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
La Femme Anjola (The Woman Anjola) follows the story of a young Lagos Investment Banker whose life is turned upside down when he falls for a beautiful singer married to a wealthy gangster. The thriller, which premiered in cinemas nationwide in March 2021, features Rita Dominic and Nonso Bassey as lead characters.
Other stars in the film are Femi Jacobs, Mumbi Maina, Chris Iheuwa, Browny Igboegwu, Richard Brutus, Adejumoke Aderounmu, Shawn Faqua, Ego Boyo, Bassey Ekepenyong and Paul Adams.
La Femme Anjola is written by Tunde Babalola, co-produced by Rita Dominic and Mildred Okwo and directed by Mildred Okwo.
