MultiChoice Nigeria has unveiled a lineup of new shows, series and other content offerings coming to its DStv, GOtv and Showmax platforms ahead of the festive season and well into 2022.
MultiChoice Nigeria’s Executive Head, Content and West Africa Channels, Busola Tejumola talked about the new shows coming to Africa Magic Showcase, Urban and Family, and those coming to Akwaaba Magic throughout the rest of the year and the first quarter of 2022. She also shared there will be a channel that will showcase live festivals and events across West Africa.
Some of the new shows that will be unveiled in November include Movement (Japa) and The Rishantes.
Movement (Japa) follows the story of three friends desperate to leave the country for the west. They set out as ship stowaways but end up on the wrong ship, barrelling their lives down a dark and violent tunnel where love and redemption may be their saving grace. Movement (Japa) will be available from November 1 at 21:00 on DStv CH 151 AM Showcase.
The Rishantes is a spin-off from Halita, the tale of a village girl whose luck landed her exactly where she needed to be to find out who she really was. In The Rishantes, Halita is now fully a member of the Rishante clan and her aunt, Matilda has re-established herself as a competent politician while her father, Ade Rishante handles the Rishante empire. New loved ones and a handful of enemies are introduced and the battle to retain market dominance remains. Catch The Rishantes from November 1 on DStv CH 153 AM Urban.
Existing shows and series like Turn Up Friday, Owambe Saturday, Music Buzz, Unmarried, Date My Family, Judging Matters, Shoot Your Shot, Love Come Back, The Flatmates, The Johnsons, My Siblings and I and more will return with new seasons.
